2008 ID&R Forum

Please join us in Atlanta, GA, on October 6–9 for the 2008 Office of Migrant Education National Identification & Recruitment Forum!

Save the date for this three and a half day event where we move from “Empower” to “Share with M.E.—Ideas, Dreams, and Resources”, the theme for this year’s Forum.

You asked—we listened! We have many exciting changes and opportunities again for this year’s event.

  • August 01 - Online registration opens
  • September 15 - "Early Bird Registration" ends - pay a reduced fee ($200.00) if you REGISTER ONLINE on or before Sept. 15. Online registrations made after Sept. 15 will have a $300.00 registration fee. Remember that you can register NOW and pay LATER (by Oct. 6)!
  • September 18, 5 pm Eastern time - HOTEL CUT-OFF FOR $141.00 ROOM RATE (add $20.00 per night per additional person sharing the room).
    • Reservations made after this date and time will be at the best rate available and on a space available basis only!!! Please reserve your rooms under the room block name "OME/Center for Human Services" by calling 1-800-937-8461 or http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/omecfhs to book online.
  • October 03 - Online registration ends; you can register onsite if needed (note that many sessions may be closed)
  • October 05 - Arrive in Atlanta!
  • October 06-09 - 2008 OME National ID&R Forum
  • October 09 - Depart Atlanta (Forum ends at 1 pm - please schedule flights accordingly)

Each session is limited to a maximum number of people so register online early!. You can pay the fee at a later date (all fees must be paid by October 06, 2008).
