Introducing the New OME Conference!!!

2009 Conference Logo

The ID&R forum is cancelled! However, in its place is a new and expanded OME meeting. Please join us in sunny San Diego, CA, for the “2009 OME Conference: A New Season of Success Together.” Scheduled for October 27-29th at the Town & Country Hotel, the conference mission is to:

• Increase the understanding of MEP requirements in order to provide quality programs for migrant children;
• Create a shared vision among migrant professionals;
• Elevate the role of migrant education within a global perspective

Invitations will be mailed to State Directors in July. The number of invitations mailed will depend on the size of the state's Migrant Education Program and will be filled at the state director’s discretion with Administrators, Recruiters, Data Specialists, and Instructional Personnel. Please visit the MERC website again soon for agenda and registration information. See you in San Diego!
